Writing through
transition
Language is how we make the invisible legible. This one-day workshop uses writing not to produce polished work, but as a living tool for processing change — grief, endings, beginnings, and everything in between that doesn't yet have a name.
How it unfolds
The workshop is structured as a series of timed writing sessions with short prompts, held in silence. Between sessions, the group gathers to share — not to critique, but to witness. We break for lunch (not included, several options nearby) and close with a 30-minute guided body-based meditation to integrate what has moved.
No writing experience is required or useful here. In fact, writers often find this the harder room to enter.

Who leads this
This workshop is facilitated by Miss Chen, an artist who works at the intersection of creative practice and inner inquiry. Having been part of the Liminal Space NYC community for over a year, she guides writing sessions not as a literary exercise, but as a way of giving form to what is difficult to say out loud.
